TOTV Meet and Greet this Friday - July 18 at 3 PM - at Crispers

It's that time of month again, my favorite Friday. Please join me and other TOTV posters this Friday July 18th at 3pm. We are meeting at Crispers, located in the Southern Trace Plaza as usual and unless the weather cools down we will be inside. If this is your first time attending we will be along the right side socializing and chatting. Come meet some of the great posters who contribute so much to this message board, just show up and have fun. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

I had thought about coming but my dog Beau (9 lbs) was chasing a boxer mix of some sort named Buster at Doggie Doo Run Run yesterday morning. Trying to get away from Beau, Buster-- all 75 lbs at about medium speed-- slammed into my knees which put me down very hard on my butt. I am OK. No doctors or lawyers needed but I am not myself.

Howie and Angie were upset that their dog Buster ran into me and offered anything they could do to help. I do hope they get Buster under more control and Beau is now sick because he feels that I have been hurt.

The Doggie Doo Run Run employee Tony also asked if I was OK while leaving because he had seen me hit the dirt. Thankfully, I fell into sand and mainly on my backside. I had wanted to see Semper Fi and Marlene while leaving but had to make it back home to take some pain pills and lay down.

Buster would make some linebacker!!

So, we have to tend one another.

I did limp to see Jersey Boys http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/jersey_boys/ at the Old Mill Playhouse yesterday afternoon mainly to get my mind off of my sore butt. Which it did. I even saw some 224 613 numbers in it. But, I now see these in many movies and TV shows. And someone is calling from Chiefland, FL. but that might just be a co-incidence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiefland,_Florida

:agree: Had a very good time. Thanks Don and Ellen. Although, it didn't end at Crisper's. Several of is ended up at Eaton's Beach for great entertainment by Scott and Michelle and dinner.

Thanks everyone who attended the meet and greet at Crispers today. Don and I had a great time. We had a wonderful crowd that consisted of Eileenny2tv, Mojoe, Tainsley, Susan G., Lovethosebigdogs, Swrinfla, Johnwenrich, 2BNTV, Surething, PammyJ. DougB,, Buggyone and Champioin6. It was a great turn out, thanks to everyone for making it part of your day. Next month Don and I will be in MA so Mojoe has kindly offered to host.

Both Beau and I are getting better after Beau chased Buster into me on Thursday. Buster is a 75 lb boxer mix who should try out as a linebacker. He tackled me at Doggie Doo Run Run for the sack. Still kind of hurts. How do Tim Tebow and others take this week-after-week?

Nancy and I have not attended the recent get together because we joined a Friday afternoon golf group. However, we will not be golfing in August so hope to make the August meeting. We have enjoyed these in the past.
