We rented the movie "Joe" last night at Redbox. Excellent movie, one of Kevin Costner's best.

Sorry, it was Cage. I'm not into movies all that much to remember all of the stars.

I kind of figured that. Thanks for the review. I plan to watch Joe soon. I enjoy Cage and Costner movies. Have they ever played in the same movie???

I don't think so, but I can't remember one from the other anyway. All I know is Joe was a good movie.

There was a movie back in 1970 called "Joe" where Peter Boyle went around killing hippies.

The 1970's "Joe" was an excellent movie. It featured a very young Susan Sarandon besides Peter Boyle. It catapulted Boyle to stardom.

I never forgot the original movie Joe. In 1970 I was stationed in Korea at a little airfield on the DMZ and I only saw two movies that year. Our chaplain got permission to show movies in an empty quonset hut that wasn't being used. One movie was Mash, which seemed kind of strange since we were in Korea a half a mile from the medical unit that it was based on, and the other movie was Joe with Peter Boyle. I never saw Joe again on TV or anywhere else until I rented it from Netflix about 5 years ago and it was still just as powerful.
