Regarding the Fruitland Park cops. I realize some took some political rants but why not just dump those as opposed to the entire thread?

Lately, whole threads have been closed abruptly. We had one about what kinds of posts/posters that annoyed people, and that was closed abruptly. So have many dog argument threads. My guess is there were too many political posts to remove and notify each poster about it. It was easier to just close the thread.

If a thread contains too many violations of the site guidelines then it is easy to just remove the entire thread. Threads that do not violate the site guidelines are never removed. At the end of the day if users stay within the guidelines there are never issues. Often users don't review or forget the posting rules.
