Aug 29 Benefit for wounded warrior

there is a thread under new villagers announcing a fund raiser at the American Legion on Rolling Acres road for John Peck, a quadruple amputee and recipient of two purple hearts....i have asked the OP to post his link here as i could not find the sticky post he mentions....please keep that date open and let us try to have a nice evening together while helping a very worthy young man. am not sure if it is a dinner, a show, a dance?? we shall find out :) it is a friday night.

If you can't go to the fund raiser you should be able to donate at the American Legion post. That young man has a long road ahead.

i think we have a group set up to go and i suggest we get there very early as last night i went to the blondes concert and arrived at six thirty and barely found a place for three of us to sit together for a 7pm show...if we want a table together we must at least appoint one person to arrive very early to save the table. i look forward to a good show for a wonderful cause.

bambi has informed me that she obtained tickets for seven of us and will have them at the door...if anyone else wants a ticket to this worthy cause with an entertainer from south florida who is supposed to be very good, please contact Rob at 516-521-5925. i believe tickets are $12 each. then let us know to save you a seat! :)
