I would put in place term limits for ALL political positions local and federal eliminating the current career politician mentality. Included in the implementation would be the immediate (within 6 months) replacement of any over age 70 (sorry about that but they too should be retired not retired in office). Secondly any in office more than two terms to be replaced within 12 months.

That all people would truly see through the antics of politicians and vote according to this, for our nation's failing health:

If I could change ONE thing in the world today it would be for all human beings to really understand the world they live in. In short be insightful. Because of this deficit we decide badly and often to harm or we are harmed by others because we lack understanding what they are capable of doing.

I would like to see ALL animal abuse stop. Living in a big city we see it on the news often where people leave their dogs chained up outside during extreme heat or cold. We see frail skinny dogs with their ribs showing and dogs that have been beaten. A few months ago someone threw some puppies out the car window while driving. This abuse breaks my heart.
I would like all dogs/cats to have a happy loving home.

I really believe that if anyone who has reached 70 and is not smart enough to retire and enjoy the balance of their lives lacks the intelligence to manage our government.

Wine is legal. Drugs that doctors give you to make you well are legal, even though they can be abused. If we could channel all of the money that illegal drug cartels make, and stop all of the damage and crime from people who are addicted who steal and attack people to support their addiction, none of us would have to be taxed at all.
A good share of crime would stop and people would think about working instead of getting high.

Mine can spell, we don't go "out", we go "o-u-t". So far they still can't read but they do find some books quite tasty.

but guns are so much more efficient for killing. no muss, no fuss.
besides, we need the other items on the list for their INTENDED purpose; knives to cut our food, hammers to drive nails, baseball bats to play baseball, pressure cookers to cook, etc, etc, etc, etc!!
guns are designed & manufactured for ONE purpose only: to wound & kill.
HUGE difference.

I would enforce prosecuting & holding responsible every doctor that performs abortion on anyone & at any gestation period. If a person who murders a pregnant woman is charged with & responsible for two murders then why do we pay doctors to committ the same crime? Taking the life of a defenseless infant is the most vicious & cruel act imaginable & both the mother & doctor should pay for such a crime-MURDER.

I also dream of the day Mayor Bloomberg keeps his focus on big gulp sodas.

Having worked in the environmental cleanup field and with several toxicologist, they had a favorite saying "The dose makes the poison" In another words, even drinking water can kill you. One person's illegal drug can be a life saver for another. The governments portrayal of certain drugs as "illegal" creates a lucrative black market. Nicotine and caffeine are "legal" drugs which harm and kill many people. Ever drink too many Monster beverages? Opiates and THC have recreational as well as therapeutic effects. Its not the drug that is harmful but the abuse of these drugs makes them harmful. Unfortunately, not all people can self regulate and we end having the government do this for us creating a criminal market. Fortunately, other governments in the world take a more progressive view and I believe we are slowly doing the same.

Yup. I think that what you have said above is a reach. Maybe Marijuana, but not heroin, cocaine, and the legal ones that are used illegally; methamphetamines, oxycodone etc.
The drug cartel is richer than all the Koch brothers squared and we sit and do nothing while addiction destroys our young..
