Golf-ball diver bitten by a gator for a second time

Martinez works for Birdie Golf Ball Co. and was working in a pond about 60 to 70 feet deep.

Gators are pretty common at Bonaventure, as there are water hazards on 15 of the course's 18 holes.

That means Martinez could be back in the future.

"It's not just my job," he said. "It's an adventure."

Maybe it was easier to get bitten by an alligator in the 1950's when things were cheaper?

I came close but Steve Irwin had coached me so I knew how to handle things.
