Gas price is $3.359 for 87. Not bad for the convenience.

Rumor had it that they would have Ethanol Free gas. Is that true?

Thanks for the info. I heard on the radio this evening the grand opening is Saturday. Free hot dogs so I guess there will be multiple lines around the block. :-)

Rumor had it that they would have Ethanol Free gas. Is that true?Yes, only the pumps on the west side (closest to Walgreens) of the station have it. It's labeled Recreational Gasoline. Today the price is $4.21.9 vs. $3.35.9 for the ethanol blended.

Such a rip off for non ethanol. Thabk you EPA.

many stations that have non ethanol gas choose to have it in the premium octane gasoline ........just like at the marinas.

Very few have the lower octane available.

Having just returned recently from Californis where we were paying $4.75 per gallon for the lowest octane.....Just across any state line it drops a minimum of $1.00 per gallon.

I am not sure what the professed attraction of CA is......

I just got gas there, 87 octane is $3.29 with cash and $3.35 with credit card, there are two prices on the pumps. They have 16 pumps. They should have a real goldmine there.

It is about the tax structure and has zero to do with the EPA

VERY happy to have a choice in that area other than the Colony Shell and traveling 25 miles to get ethanol free!! :-)

Whatever the reason, it's still a rip off.

Paying with cash really can slow down the process.

As long as you don't mind going inside and standing in a long line and never being able to prepay a "fill-up".

However, when the station is busy, it is a bit aggravating for the next customer who has to wait for the cash payer to stand in line (often after doing some shopping) and then continuing to wait during the eventual pumping process.

The retailer should allow the "cash" discount but encourage the cash payer to use a card at the pump as a "hold or deposit". Then after pumping, the cash payer could move the car and go inside to pay cash. Something like this would be more efficient and consumer friendly.

I see your point. That's why my better half goes in to pay. I pump.
If she is going to shop, she pays for gas first. I pump, then move the car.
It's also aggravating when someone uses a card to pump, finishes, then goes inside to shop and leaves the car.
Oh well, life is to short to let the small stuff raise my bloodpressure

I filled up my golf cart at Colony this evening and thought it odd that regular unleaded was only around $3.35 a gallon. Then I just read this post and had an ahh haa moment. Competition is good!
