I ran across this video of Lady Gaga, singing with Tony Bennett.

Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga - The Lady is a Tramp - YouTube (http://youtu.be/ZPAmDULCVrU)

Today's paper tells us that she is coming out with an album with Tony Bennett called "Cheek to Cheek, to be released Sept 23rd, 2014.

As Tony said in the article, "we had no idea she sings that well". Being a fan of the old saloon singers like Bennett. Lady Gaga said, There's 60 years difference between us, and when we sing, there's no difference". Bennett is 87 and Lady Gaga is 28.

I was impress with the above video. Lady Gaga is from Yonkers, NY, my hometown.

BTW - Tony was right, "I had no idea".

I did read on:

Wiki bio........Lady Gaga, After high school, her mother encouraged her to apply for the Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP21), a musical theater training conservatory at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.[14] By age seventeen, after becoming one of twenty students to gain early admission, she lived in an NYU dorm on 11th Street.[21] In addition to sharpening her songwriting skills, she composed essays and analytical papers on art, religion, social issues, and politics, including a thesis on pop artists Spencer Tunick and Damien Hirst.
