When Gary Corsair of the Villages Daily Sun was researching doing a story on me after interviewing me, he Googled me and Snopes.com came up in all its glory. This was for the story on my attempts to get the Florida Victim Services Directory connected to the Marion, Sumter, and Lake County public libraries. It ran on Memorial Day of 2007. May 31, 2007. He called me and asked about the Snopes.com crap.

I never get warm and fuzzy when thinking of Snopes.com since then even though what is on now is different from 2007.

The Villages Daily Sun did run the article on me despite what Gary Corsair had asked about that Memorial Day weekend of 2007.

Starting in September, golf courses will open for Golf Cart racing & motorcycles. It is such a waste to only have them used by old people swinging clubs. On Fridays the (old) golfers will have the opportunity to hit the people who are fully enjoying themselves with the open land. Prizes will be given to each age group. God Bless America. Like the book and TV series "Under the Dome", Developer will invest megabucks installing a huuuuge dome over entire The Villages area.
All residents receive force field entry cards to come&go. Non-res = like a toll. $2.50 to enter TV and must exit within 6 hours. The domed area will be climate controlled, kept at 74 degrees year 'round with 40% humidity. For fun during a few days around Christmas, they turn us into a giant snowglobe and we get a taste of the North.
