We are new to the villages and want to buy a golf cart that won't cost us a fortune but is gas. So many places to buy from. Any recommendations? Or should we buy directly from a seller? Don't know what would be considered a good price.

Grandma and Grandpa's Village Buggies (Google this for the website). Owned and operated by a Villager for 6+ years. They specialize in re-manufactured club car and some Yamaha carts. Located just north of Hw 42 on Hw 27/441. Ask for Scott Prince 552-8478. He is a neighbor and friend of mine.

We bought both of ours from other villagers. Sweetie is very good at knowing if something is working properly. We really feel great about both of them.
One was a gas four seater that was no longer needed because the mother in law was no longer living in their home and the other was an electric cart that was sold only because the owners were leaving to take care of the owners mother in Great Britain. Both solid and work well.

Golf Cart Concepts next to Mystic Ice Cream. They can customize to whatever style you like. Ask for Jim Welsh.

I would look for a used cart from a private party. Best if they bought the cart new. Prices are all over the place. Watch the prices in the Daily Sun and here. Do not be in a hurry. Get an idea what carts are going for. Test drive and do not buy one that does not go at least 20 mph. If it goes more than 20 get a speedometer installed. Get a $5 map and keep it on the cart.

Why would you want one that goes more than 20 mph?

Why would you want one that goes more than 20 mph?
