How many out there are carnivores?

How many out there are carnivores?
How many vegans?
How many vegetarians?

I could easily be the latter, if I didn't have to prepare meat for other folks. Still heavy on the veggies.........

I became a vegetarian when I was 14 for health and ethical reasons. I cracked and started eating seafood when I was about 28 :)

As I understand it we evolved as hunter-gatherers. Usually the men hunted and the women gathered.

I enjoy fruits and veggies as well as meat and fish, all part of a balanced diet.

I remember my son telling me of a celebrity he met, saying, "I didn't work my way to the top of the food chain just to eat vegetables."

Sometimes I think we eat what our bodies "tell" us we "need." Sweets and treats aren't included.

I am not a carnivore. Carnivores eat only meat. I eat everything except turnips and okra.

Wife and I are about 95% vegan (salmon + small amount of cheese on occasion).

I own three grills, a large cast iron charcoal grill, a large infrared gas grill, and a small kettle grill for two to four people. I also own a large electric smoker. These are not primarily used to cook vegetables.

Funny how you phrased this questions. How many are carnivores as if carnivores are the minority and unnatural group.

Studies show that somewhere between 5% and 13% of US residents are vegetarians or vegans. Some say that there are even less and that many who try vegetarianism go back to eating eat at some point.

I'm about 99% vegan.

Sometimes I will open a 15 ounce can of wild Salmon and divide it up into about 9 or 10 servings. Then I put these small servings in a storage container and put it in the freezer. I might have one serving per day, like a supplement. I enjoy it. Although, I haven't had any for about a week because I just didn't feel like opening another can. It takes a little patience.
