Some friends are considering renting in TV. Can someone explain what type of passes they will need and cost, if any.

Thanks.

It really depends what they want to do. If golf and they're going to be here for at least two weeks, they'll need a resident ID. If just wanting to use rec centers, etc., a guest pass will do.

The resident will require the homeowner to leave their ID cards with The sales office in Spanish Spring. The cost is $50,whether one or two ID cards (you can't get more than two per house).

Guest passes are free. Just need a resident to go to one of the regional rec centers and fill out the forms. It can also be done online but won't be available for pick up for three days.

We paid $50 when we rented for two weeks in December 2013. I'll be happy to pay $50 when we rent for three months in 2015 -- January through March -- because then I can I plan play golf on executive courses for $4 for 9 holes. No bargains like that in Ohio! I can't wait! If you're from Monongah, West Virginia, or even Marion County, or a Mountaineer, I'd love to meet you. We'll be staying on Rainbow Drive off the Silver Lake Executive Golf course.

We have friends using our house for a week in September. (We still are in NJ working[emoji22]) Can I just go online and register them for that week as guest? Can they play golf ? Do I need to be with them? Can they go and pick up the passes without me?
Thank you.

Yes to registering them online. Golf will cost them more and they can't make their own t-times (I think). No, you don't have to be with them. They just need to go to the rec center you requested for pick up.

Hope they have a ball!

You might want to start a new thread asking for golf info for your friends. I don't play and am suite happy knowing as little as possible about TV courses and registration.

With the guest pass you can't make a tee-time (will have to be made by a village resident) There will also be greens fees on exec. courses.
Also with a guest pass you can't go to sports pools.
