Battery Acid on Garage Floor

I had an overflow when filling my cart battery. I notice that I now have a grayish mark on the garage floor. I can't remove it by just water. Does anyone know of how I could get this mark off the floor?

Baking soda mixed with water in a slurry. and a thorough rinsing with water. Do it as soon as possible. It is like a reactor core meltdown and just keeps on eating the concrete. I purchased a home with a spot on the floor and about a qtr inch of concrete is destroyed.

I know it's hard to believe but I swear it's true: I used to have a home office with the hard-plastic floor protector used so you can roll your office chair over carpeting. Instead of putting out on recycle day, I decided to put it under my 48V cart. Honestly, when I do get some acid on it, I take it outside and wash it clean. (I'm not making it up) I'm not suggesting anyone go out and but one for that purpose but give it a try if you have an old one.

Yep, that's what I, do only I use an old bath mat.

Always fill batteries when completely charged.Never when not charged.
