Unable to locate any prior info on recycling of various products - maybe somebody out there can steer us in the right direction?
1. Sharps (used needles and syringes)
2. Used motor oil
3. Glass bottles
Thanks folks for any feedback.

Just look up the phone number for your garbage collector and call them.
By the way, I needed some more recycle bags but the store only had blue bags so I bought them. Seemed like a good idea, easier for the collectors to spot. Well, guess what, they won't accept the blue bags. So don't buy them.....

We called them about sharps and were told to do whatever we did up North. That is put them in an empty coffee container put on the lid. Seal with duct tape and write "Sharps" on the tape and put in the regular garbage.

We moved into the Village of Hillsborough the first of May and have been using the blue tinted bags for the recyclables. Read in another thread a week or so ago that they were no longer accepting these bags and have been looking for "clear" bags ever since. So far no luck at Winn Dixie or Publix. Where can I find the clear bags???
By the way, so far they are still picking up the blue bags and hopefully will continue until I either run out or find the clear ones.

Thanks. After being told by hospital to drop "sharps' at CVS, CVS said "NO, bring them to local Fire Station", Fire Station told us "NO, put them in a large liquid detergent plastic container and place in trash or check with VCDD/CDD" or fellow Villagers. I was hesitant to put them in the trash, so here I was looking for those other "recycle" options...hmmm, so into the trash they go...done.
