would anyone have a recommendation on someone to build a pergola

Magellan built our pergola and we could not be happier. I know others feel they are expensive, but the quality of their work and customer service is superior. Many compliments and requests for who did ours when it was finished. If you would like to see it, let me know and I will give you our address.

We will probably go with Magellan for our rebuild.
I'll tell you who not to use and that is Village Palm. They installed our pergola 3 years ago, per contract was to use pressure treated lumber and it's severely falling apart already. We had them out to negotiate and basically they are not doing any negotiating. They offered to replace 2 board for $80. Really disappointed. Also, the pompous grass they planted has never bloomed. When I pointed this out, I got a "huh, how about that." We interviewed several other installers who all agree this is probably not pressure treated lumber. The only way to tell is to do a fairly expensive test on the wood. I'm considering that.
