Couples Golf League Executive Courses

My husband & I would love to join a couples golf league on the executive courses north of 466 on either Saturday or Sundays. Not sure where or who to inquire if there are any. Thanks!

I noticed your post earlier today and thought I would give you my two cents on the couples league subject.

We moved from a golf course community, our homes were built around the course and we were members, along with anyone else living in the area who wanted to be a member. Our social life was centered around the course, the restaurant, the socials, the dances the game nights - you name it, all centered around the club house and set up by the owner and pro!

The Villages is totally different - we are a residential community with golf course access all around us. I live on a golf course, but I cannot use the golf paths to get to the club house for dinner at night and I cannot walk the paths for exercise, the golf courses are privately owned and as such, unless I have paid to play golf, I am trespassing.

However, I know several couples both in my village and in other villages who have formed their own couples leagues and I think that is probably what you need to look into for your own enjoyment. Ask around to see whether there are any leagues in your area and hopefully you will find one. I notice you are north of 466 which means you are in an older settled neighborhood and most of your neighbors have formed their relationships and friendships and leagues. Take your time, watch what is going on around your area and if there is no league try to get people interested. It is a little more difficult to fit into an established neighborhood (I know, we did it), but relax, give it time and let people get to know you and you will find people you like and who like you.
