What was your favorite Robin Williams role?

Mine - the Genie in Aladdin! He adlibbed so often and so much - the animators had to redo the Genie to match the adlibbed script!

Patch Adams. Hard to watch with Robin and Phillip Seymour Hoffman both gone now.

He was a very troubled man and his loss is very sad. He was an absolute comedic genius and his talent will be missed.

He made too many great movies to have one as a favorite.

I would have to say "Good Morning Vietnam" as it combined his comedic and dramatic talents very well. I also liked "Patch Adams." A great loss.

Mrs. Doubtfire. Watching it confirmed I needed to get divorced. I have lived happily ever after!

Dead Poet's Society. He made me believe that I could make a difference as a professor. I even climbed on my desk once to stir up the class. I will miss him. So sad.

Definitely Good Morning, Vietnam.

I was fortunate enough to see him onstage when he was first starting in San Francisco. Many other comedians would walk off the stage if he was in the audience or backstage. Robin adlibbed (especially when he was high on coke, which was most of the time back then) so much that their lines would just come out as he was doing his material. Then people would ask the original comedian why s/he was using Robin's act. When Robin figured out what he was doing, he made it a practice to wait outside until it was time for him to perform. He always had a nice thing to say to his fans while out there.

I can't believe he is gone. What a tragic loss for everyone.

There isn't a role that Robin Williams played that I did not like. However the movie that I could watch repeatedly was "Death To Smoochie" The movie which I believe created an irony to this man's life is "What Dreams May "Come."

Perhaps now people will begin to engage in a national conversation about mental illness. Perhaps the mischaracterizations of those with mental disorders by the media and the movies will be dispelled

May he rest in peace.

His dramatic acting in "Good Will Hunting".

Loved the line in Mrs. Doubtfire, when his wife asked Doubtfire, about her husband and learn her husband was killed by drink.

Sally Field asked, :was he was an alcoholic?

No, he was run over by a Guinness Ale truck. :D

I am sad to see such a wonderful caring person leave us. :(

RIP - Robin

Birdcage ........... loved that movie and watch it every chance I get. He showed every emotion possible in that movie and I thought it was sheer brilliance.

I also liked to see him interviewed, especially when he would go "off" into one of his rants.

He must have been very difficult to live with - a real roller coaster ride!
