I lost my garage door opener. . .yes, I am a dufus. . .where do I go to get a new one?

Look up the type in your manual. Then search on the internet for a store that carries it. Probably a big box store or Amazon.
The manual can be found on line. The model and manufacture should be on the garage door opener motor assembly.

If it is MVP the store is on Rolling Acres Rd I think.

I think you are talking about Ro-Mac Garage Doors at the intersection of Rolling Acres and Duck Lake Lane. It is in the back of the Ro-Mac Lumber complex. I got my garage door opener replacement there.

Masters Touch (352-216-0060) will replace and recode your opener for you,also. I can't remember if his fee is $35 or $45, but certainly reasonable for the convenience of home delivery and setting up (I'm totally remote control challenged, so his programming for me is a total blessing).
