TAX REBATE

Recently, the Administration said each one of us would get $300. It was
supposed to be $800 but they dropped it to a $300 tax rebate...There are
other amounts depending on individual circumstances.....

HOWEVER
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China. If we
spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs, and neither will help the
American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way I can see to
keep that money here at home is to buy beer, spend it on prostitution, or
play golf since those are the only businesses still in the U.S.!

I'm using my rebate to buy a congressman. I realize that for that piddling amount, I won't be able to get one of the high end models, but there are undoubtedly some bottom of the line types or maybe a fixer-upper that I could pick up cheap. Later I could look into trading up. I realize most of these things, especially the ultra swanky Senator model, get lousy mileage, are terribly unreliable, and have very high maintenance cost, but what could be more American than having a congressman of your very own.
