Has anyone had experience with Dr.Clifford with Villages Health?
Seems in the paper they focus on the same doctors all the time giving kudos here and there but haven't seen his name mentioned. thanks.

My wife and I use him and are very happy with him. He takes the time needed to address your problems.

I have dr Clifford in our villages health plan, he is very good. I have had my psa test done every year, it is in the normal range, but dr Clifford insisted on doing a digital exam. He noticed a lump, and sent me to a uroligist. Long story short, i have prostate cancer, will meet with a surgeon wednesday. My uroligst said Dr Clifford saved my life by insisting on the digital exam. If i were still in Michigan i would not have a clue that the cancer was present, and when it finally had symtoms, it would be to late. Thank God for Dr Clifford's insistance during my physical. Note: My MD in Michigan never advised me on a digital exam since my psa tests were in the normal range. I am looking forward to surgery (only to get rid of the cancer), and hope to enjoy the villages for a long time.

Highly recommend Dr. Clifford. He is obviously a very competent primary care doc who leads the patients down the right paths without preaching or pushing. He also knows and understands that quirky breed known as golfers.

First of all, I am not a doctor. But I hope you have looked into the other treatments for prostate cancer, such as proton therapy. Obviously, it all depends on your situation, but I felt compelled to say something about the other alternatives.
