We are considering hiring a housekeeper (or such).

In Gilchrist, moved into our new home in Feb. LOVE it - but made an unwise decision re flooring. We had aftermarket laminate installed everywhere except the kitchen and baths. Nice laminate, but it is darker - Brazilian Cherry. Looks really nice when cleaned but that sure doesn't last. Gets so dusty around here, and I seem to bring crud in too. And we have a little dog that drips after drinking etc etc. It's a royal pain to keep sparkling. Especially noticeable in the mornings with the sun reflecting all the particles etc.

Neither of us enjoy cleaning (you know...), and being retired rather not spend much time doing that - especially the darn floors.

So question to you folks in the know. Is there a very good reputable cleaning Co in TV. We're thinking while they are out here, perhaps every couple weeks - they could deep clean toilets, tile floors and such. I'd expect an hour of work should do it. I know the issues re being bonded and such - BUT, it sure would be good to find a TV resident that enjoys this type of housework and would like to make cash.

Any suggestions or contacts? Thanks!

BE CAREFUL whomever you choose....the house break-ins near Brownwood were, in certain cases, related to the cleaning company Staff.
