Went to see Masquerade on Wednesday night. Great performance by all. I would only ask that the people who choose to wear perfume think about others. I have asthma and I had a very hard time that night. The smell of perfume around me was gagging and I might add Not only did I have a hard time others around me said the same thing.

Please remember a little goes a long way!

I had the same thing happen to me at church this morning. I don't have athsma but someone's perfume was so strong that it was almost nauseating.

We had the same experience at the Savannah Center this past week! Lady in front had it on WAY to much! I don't have asthma neither but have to say that strong scents (of any kind---candles, cleaning products, perfume, after-shave) about do me in!!

We've got a guy in one of the dance classes I do who must pour the whole damned bottle over his head - and when it gets warm - oh boy!

Some folks lose there sense of smell as they age and really are not aware.

Some folks lose there sense of smell as they age and really are not aware.

And some are quite aware- they simply don't give a rat's patootie that it may affect others adversely. At times, I've wished I had a giant clown mallet in my purse to bonk them with.

My husband used to smoke and didn't smell anything. Once he quit smoking his nose became very sensitive to certain smells . . . strong perfume, some candles, certain cleaning products.

I've always had an immediate gut reaction to any perfume with musk in it . . . my stomach starts churning at the first whiff. I could smell my boss the second she got off the elevator. To add insult to injury she had the office right next to me. I kept closing my door whenever she was in town and when asked why I was being so standoffish had to confess I just couldn't handle the odor, it was literally making me gag. Boy, that was an uncomfortable conversation.
