What is the most you have won from playing the lottery? I won 27.00 this week after a 6.00 investment.

Nothing on the Powerball. Won $1178 at the Casino in Tampa on the slot machines. Many years ago, we took an overnight bus trip to Atlantic City from VA, and I hit the quarter slot machine and I have no idea how much it was. It was at least two cups full. (this was before the vouchers) Somewhere aroune $400, I think. We played the rest of the day, ate a great lunch and deducted the cost of the trip and returned home with over $100 more than we left with.

Hope your two cups full was the entire payout.
Had a similar experience at a Casino, years ago. All the Bells and Whistles went off
AND a light was blinking on top of the slot machine.
ME, the dumb guy was walking away with 2 buckets of coins.
A nice lady walks up to me and said
" stand at your machine, the pay off is MORE than the slot can spit out"
I asked how did you know that ?
She said "the blinking light on top is to alert you. Just wait at the machine,
someone will come out and open the machine and give you a slip to take
to the pay window"
Holy Crap, I almost walked away from enough to pay for the ENTIRE Vacation and a whole lot more.
The sweet lady ( with no makeup and stringy wet hair, wearing a sack dress) refused a 15 % reward from me.
Later I found out she was a VERY well known person.

Another Casino Experience.
I was playing slots and losing badly.
The lady next to me hit a pretty good PAYLINE and asked if I would mind
going down two aisles and tell the man( her husband) in the
BROWN Cowboy hat to come over and play her machine while
she went to the restroom.( but do NOT tell him she won a jackpot)
He said "Oh my, I can't go there right now. I just hit a Jackpot and am
waiting for the floor man to write my payout slip. If I can trust you to watch
her machine until she gets back I will give you $ 100. "
When all was said and done the man in the Brown Cowboy hat came by
and pressed some cash into my hand and thanked me for my troubles.
It was more than $ 100.

About a year ago we got 4 out of 5 numbers on Fantasy 5 for $119. All 5 numbers would of been about $125,000.

The same happend when I won the 1,200. I was sitting at the machine, I think it was a nickel machine, and all of a sudden the bells and red light went off. Since my husband was in another area I called him and said "I think I won". He questioned why I thought that and I said "the red light is on and the machine said please wait for attendant." I had no clue how much I'd won. It was a good feeling once I found out what I'd won. I put most of it back into the slots......

Tom is still working on winning the lottery and I hope it happens before we're to old too enjoy it. He plays Keno lottery, along with others, the same numbers every week. Many years ago we went on vacation and he didn't play the Keno and those numbers came out.
In 2003 he filled out a card from Hot Bikes magazine to enter a contest and win a free motorcycle. Not long after we get a letter claiming he was the proud owner of a Cole Custom bike, but we thought it was a scam. It wasn't, and a few weeks later it was delivered to our house. I got on Ebay and sold it for 20 thousand dollars cash. That was a happy day.

When Powerball was first introduced in Indiana, I bought a $1 ticket and won $100. quit playing after that win. But, at Marriott in San Juan on morning of a Saturday checkout I stopped in casino at the hotel and kept winning at a $1 machine. Won so much I had to gather more buckets for the coins. Ended up having to get two attendants to help me carry 5 full bucket to cashier. Over $1,100 cash. (Wife chewed me out for being late back to room for our noon checkout! Which goes to show you just can't win.)
