Are there any nice yarn shops in the area? I'm an intermediate knitter. Not looking for yarn from Michael's or Joanne's. I like hand dyed yarns.

I'm no expert but I attended a group for a short time that met at Fish Hawk around noon, I think Friday. The ladies were really nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They talked about a yarn shop in Summerville. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but maybe this will point you in the right direction. If you call Fish Hawk, I'm sure they can tell you for sure the day and time the group meets.

There is a store called the Yarn Lady in Summerfield. It is in the Baylee Plaza near the corner of 441/27 and 42.

I go to Baylee Plaza in Summerfield for a dentist, that's the tan colored shopping center on the left on 441/27 about a mile north of Walmart. It also has the Sears store and the Little Joey's Restaurant. I was looking at the stores when I was recently there and they have a yarn shop. I just did a google search and it's called Hardin's Yarn Shop. Do a search and you'll see they have an Ocala newspaper article and a Facebook page.
