We live in Bonnybrook in a patio villa. One day I noticed our A/C in the garage was sweating and water was leaking on the drywall and floor. We called the same company that installed the unit when the house was built 10-1/2 years ago. They sucked water out of the condensation drain in the rear of the house and pretty much said if it continues you have a leak in the drain pan . If that is the case then you may as well replace the entire unit. Enter Dave Gott owner and service technician for Real Cool LLC. He was recommended by my neighbor. He worked on the unit for about 3 hours and had it diagnosed and repaired and when I got the bill I had to pay him more than he charged because I felt guilty.
I talked to him while he was working and watched everything he did. We have the Tankless water heater and he is trained to repair those also. Dave is a Village resident( no spring chicken) . I just felt so good about finding a trustworthy HVAC person I had to share my story. davidgott@hotmail.com is his email

Yours is a typical story regarding most Florida HVAC companies. The techs are told to upsell the job if it can't be repaired in 30 minutes or less. If they don't upsell they will install a $20 part say that was the problem and leave you with a $300 invoice.
