Has anyone been in this book? Or tried? If so what was the category /result?
A few years ago my wife and I took part on a TV attempt a world record for number of golf carts in a parade. Sadly, we did not set the record which I believe was already owned by TV.
It would be fun to try again-- the logistics are difficult to say the least.
PS The attempt was not during snowbird season--if so I thought that we would have set the record.

I participated in the first parade (09/04/05) which was certified by Guiness as the largest golf cart parade (over 3,200 carts - held down because Sheriff Farmer said his deputies couldn't handle any more!).
The follow on attempt (in 2010, I think) was a great disappointment, as the organizers hadn't laid out a route where carts could flow freely; sometimes we were bumper-to-bumper not moving for minutes at a time.
A third try at a new record would be great, but it must be very carefully designed, with the full cooperation of The Villages and all authorities.

I'm very glad SOMEBODY remembers. I hope TV will make another attempt--though it was a lot of waiting it was a lot of fun
