Watched the DVD Into the Wild last night even though I had seen it in a theater in Oldsmar, Florida in 2007.

Very interesting movie with some really great cinematography of the outdoors. I read the book of the same name in between the two viewings. That does make a difference when viewing this film. Really liked the cover of the DVD for some reason. http://www.amazon.com/Into-Wild-Emile-Hirsch/dp/B000ZN802W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1205850646&sr=1-2 :joke:

Into the Wild is a gripping, disturbing, sad, certainly tragic--and incredibly beautifully filmed--movie based on the book by Jon Krakauer (also the author of Into Thin Air about an ill-fated Everest climb). Read the book some years ago and finally got to see the movie on a cruise ship in January. Highly recommend both book and movie, though suggest reading it first before seeing it.
