charge time

I have a 36V ezgo cart I charge it after all 9 hole rounds . How long should it take to charge batteries up. mine seem to take around 6 hours Is this normal? Thanks

A charger starts out on a high rate of charge for three quarters of full charge time and simmers down in a float mode for the remainder of charge time. Six hours is not unusual.
When batteries are older the time of that float mode increases and the batteries take a long
Time to reach the peak voltage and than charger shuts off.
