There isn't a town in America without a registered sex offender, or so it seems. Those lists of sex offenders that I see include about every town I'm interested in living in or visiting. At least you know who they are, and to keep your grandchildren away from him. So sad.

Time for him to go away for a few years.

You have no idea how much sexual abuse of little children happens because your state attorney only prosecutes cases you will believe . The little ones would tell you, but you would not believe them.

I'd like to think I would believe them. Pretty sad.

One doesn't need a p*nis to be a sexual offender or sexual predator.

Castrate him and let him go.
And he would use other parts.

You would not. It is too awful to believe. That is why prosecution is seldom.

The key word in the thread title is "again". This guy was convicted in 2003.

The news article cites only his previous perversion in 2012. But it does NOT mention his conviction in 2003 that is shown on the registered sex offender mapping/listing site, Family Watchdog (which everybody should be using, to be aware of who's living nearby):

"Charge: SEX OFFENSE OTHER STATE (SEXUAL ABUSE 1ST DEGREE (FORCIBLE COMPULSION))

"Conviction Date: 5/15/2003"

The news article also says, besides the 2012 incident/arrest:

Greenberg was also identified as the suspect in another incident and had been falsely impersonating Village Watch, according to the arrest report."

So now we watch and see how soon he is out on the streets, in the neighborhood, and hiding in the bushes......."again".

Is there a reason the street address is not given?

You can see his address on the Family Watchdog site I linked above.

Why is he living in TV?

Why is he living in TV?

Don't you imagine he lives with his parents for any number of reasons?

Sometimes you can find where a person lives by putting in the name in sumterpa.com.

His phone number is in The 'Official' Villages phone book and lives on Laurel Bay Lane. Obviously, he is a habitual offender and has no place in The Villages. He needs jail time, not rehab, jail time.

I wonder if there is such a thing as rehabilitation for a repeat sex offender. It must be such a strong urge that common sense, morality, and fear of prosecution are pushed aside.

It is a fact of life, as unfortunate as that is. No matter where you live there is a predator in your midst. Be aware. .

As you know I have a Law Degree from the University of Minnesota and do agree that there is not enough proof often to try a case just based on the testimony of a kid. Often too kids are used in parental spats when one of or both will go for the jugular with a false accusation of sexual abuse.

Better education of kids about this might be part of the solution though doing this would be very tricky given limitations on just what a teacher could share with a very young kid and not be forced out of employment due to enraged parents for teaching the birds and the bees. I have no background in Elementary Education though.

Maybe, there are good links about this? The problem is that if a concerned uncle or aunt tries to step in and protect the kids, he/she may also be accused of trying to corrupt a minor.

That's about what the average person thinks about child sexual abuse.
That's what you get for jurors, and nobody believes the kids.

Here is another recent example near here, in Sanford. Note the 3rd sentence:

Aug. 20, 2014 --SANFORD — Twenty-year-old Nijhir Lomax is a convicted child rapist.

When he was 17, he raped a 6-year-old girl whom he was babysitting while her mother was running errands.

Because he was so young, he was spared prison time.

Instead, he was placed on 15 years of probation and ordered to wear a satellite monitor.

That electronic device shows that within six weeks of his sentence, he was breaking the rules, according to Seminole County court records.

Lomax went to Fort Mellon Park in Sanford 42 times over the next few months, according to Assistant State Attorney Lisa Haba……..

If we as parents and grandparents do our job well we must place mistrust in our small children of strangers, something we as children did not grow up feeling.

Yesterday my husband and I were at Walmart and we heard a little boy crying standing alone. I am guessing he was about six.

I went up to him and asked if he was lost and he said no and backed away from me. I knew right away what he had been taught and I knew to him I was a stranger. I didn't want to leave him and I didn't want to scare him and meanwhile my husband ran to customer service to get help. I asked him what his daddy's name was and he said he was at work. I told him that he could stay right there and we would try to find his mom. Somehow the customer service person got him moved over to in front of the customer service station and soon his mom and his two brothers were reunited and that mom got a very very clingy and tight hug from this little guy. She thanked us all and I assured her that we have all been separated from our children. I could see that Mom had talked to this small boy about NOT going with strangers.

I was so happy to see them reunited and everyone safe. It made me smile all day.

Today's news (on FOX TV) was about a 20 year old woman that raped a 14 year old boy. That is statutory rape. Now as a result of the "incident" a child was formed . The woman is now seeking child support since the Victim of statutory rape is no longer a minor.
