From the paper a while back, this is worthwhile and not all that much trouble. We've all got bunches of old golf balls sitting somewhere in the garage.

Muncle, thanks for posting this. We do not golf, but the house came with golf balls. Now I know what I will do with them.

Don't have golf balls, but I do contribute to operation shoebox. http://www.operationshoebox.com/ I believe this was started by a very special volunteer group of folks in TV and is a great way to support our troops!! Please pass this website on to everyone!

I must have 200 or more shags hanging around. Maybe even new dozens of brands i don't use (you accumulate lots of balls from tournaments when you play as much as i do :joke:).
