Waiting on closing, got some free time. If there are any Singles tennis players out there ( 3.5 or up) really want to hit/practice or play. Am 4.0 player and above sometimes at the monment. Double fine also if need 4th, renting in El Cortez at the monment, Chula Vista Courts real close or will travel.

RCMoser, I am looking to hook up my brother-in-law with some singles or doubles play in January. Will you be here then? He's 67, has been playing at (I think) a 4.0 level. I believe he currently plays doubles on clay, but I've played singles with him before. I was 3.5 and he always won.

The date they're visiting in January is not yet confirmed.

If you call the Glenview Country Club Tennis Dept., (352) 753-1317, they should be able to give you contact information for guys who coordinate doubles groups. Even if someone is only here for a limited time, groups frequently are looking for subs.

Hope this helps.

Yes Cfrance I will be here (Frog now).

Average Guy: Yes I play doubles weekly and on the sub list, but still like to play singles. (improves my timing and strokes, which makes my doubles play better)

rlherman: let me know when you can play late afternoons great for me, I prefer hard courts for singles, but don't matter (Sat and Wed and middle two Fridays not good for now for sets, but would be able to drill/hit in afternoon). I would like to get 4 or so up our way and have set time twice week at Chatham or saddlebrook (which would be harder with only two courts.)

I live in Calumet Grove real close to Chatham (have the form to fill out to reserve court times for group, if I can find group?). I also have stringer.
Thanks, I will save your number.
