Is anyone up to date on what is going on with the Trailwinds development on 466-A? The signs are up, but it has been quiet.

Just had a friend look into a rental at that site and was told they would not start building till 2015.

I have been following it closely for three years.

At this point, site plans are ready to be approved by Wildwood, except for one important element. A new sewer line is coming southward along CR 462. It must come eastward to Trailwinds Village. The property owner between CR 462 and Trailwinds Village is not cooperating with granting the easement needed for the sewer line. This negotiation has been stalled for about four months.

As to what type of shops, no one on TOTV will know. You can see a conceptual plan here: Trailwinds Village (http://trailwindsvillage.com) At this website, all of the buildings shown are CONCEPTUAL ONLY. What Wildwood is ready to approve is the plan for the infrastructure - streets, sidewalks, retention ponds, water, sewer and electric. No plans for buildings have been presented to Wildwood for review/approval.
