This is nothing but a reminder to exercise your due diligence when hiring "professionals". Check and double check any person or business that you are thinking of hiring. It isn't that hard to do if you have their name and phone number. The phone is very often from their home state and you can usually look up on line court records from their old residence and residence here. Also.....don't assume that if a business advertises here on TOTV, or any of TV news publications that they are above board.

With break-ins occurring, don't be intimidated to purchase any form of home protection without carefully investigating credentials.

What sorts of things ?

Any sorts. Some so called business people are desperate and will stoop low to take advantage of others. It happens here too often. Over the top soliciting for business is a red flag.

So is there information of a company that you are warning us about? When there is a problem with a business they are usually named and on to sherif dept.

No, no one in particular. Just a suggestion to be wary when hiring or buying a service from an unknown.
