We recently purchased in South Florida but are already regretting it. Stayed in TV twice and loved it. Now thinking of moving once again. Can anyone advised the 'average' monthly costs for a home in the historical section ie no mortgage. but amenities, hydro, water, grass cutting and television, etc.
Thank you

mike...just a real rough estimate would be about $600-700/month for taxes, insurance, water/trash, amenity, utilities, lawn/bug service. Of course, depends on size/value of home, size of lot, insulation/ac efficiency, etc....but, you get the idea.

Based on your post, you appear to be a resident of the Villages. We are interested in moving to the Villages next Spring. We are coming for our second visit in April. Do you know whether there is a Vintage Car Show going on around April 9 thru April 11?
Thanks,

Thanks villages07. That's about what I'm paying here, but I get a fraction of all that you get.
We'll have to rethink this whole situation. I know it's warmer down south in the winter months but while I was up in TV last winter it was always nice in the afternoons (75ish).
Perfect golf weather.

jimbarb, If you go to this link, http://www.thevillages.com/index2.htm The Villages Home Page and then click on Entertainment up at the top, you will find the entertainment for both Sqaures and Katie Belle's, the Savannah Center, etc. for about 10 days or so in advance.

To answer your question there is, at Lake Sumter Landing, on Friday, April 11, 2008

• The Villages Vintage Car Club with Bobby Tate Trio-Come and Dance with Bobby's Trio.

We will be in TV at that time. Stop by LSL, if you see us say hello and we can have a little "how do you do".
