Yesterday (March 27) this scene was barren of snow and the grass even showed signs of green. This was taken this AM ( March 28)
Is there any reason why I shouldn't be in TV ???
See you later in 2008 ;D

Yikes! Gives me the shivers to look at that!

Not as bad here in DE, but not putting away the snow shovel just yet--you never know....

OMG Handie, I feel for you. Since moving South I don't miss those types of winter. An inch of snow here once in awhile is okay but nothing like that. Just stay focused on your visit to TV.

Looks like a normal beautiful spring in the Syracuse, New York area. Hang in there, spring is about five weeks away for you. I know I lived there most of my life and only return after all of that white stuff leaves. Mothers Day still gets snow in that area. Just think Norman Rockwell!

Today the 28th of March the lucky Villagers to be here in southern Maine got 4 more inches of snow... Nothing like the Handiman (he who lives where the snow originates) but still 140 inches is nothing to sneeze at

Y'all have my sympathies. Snow is good for three things -- skiing, snow angels and snow packs to melt for water.

Oh, and, Handie, dearest, you're still there cause the little monst .. er, darlings .. need you to take then to school. ;)

Handie, I feel for you with your miserable weather and like the others I look forward to your arrival in TV. However, please, please, please put on a damned shirt before you get here.

Is that Syracuse, NY? I once took my son on a trip looking at a college there the second week in May, and 8" of snow had just fallen! Good grief!!!

Brings back memories........beautiful memories......glad thats what snow is, a memory! You guys are going to agree with me very soon, I'm sure!! I painted a snow scene as a reminder, and love looking at it in January, in my lanai, appreciating where I am now! ;D

Well no snow in the Metro Boston area but further north in New Hampshire they are skiing. I saw folks speeding north with skis and other snow toys on top of their cars. Here it rained off and on all day.... a lot of spitting and a few downpours especially whenever I had to get out of the truck. LOL The high for the day was 37.5 degrees... I never really got warm. Still cold as a matter of fact. The damp only exacerbates my aches and pains. :'(

Can't wait to get to TV on 4/18 for a little break! In the mean time I just keep this in mind:

Yep, that's Syracuse. One April I was walking across campus in a blinding snow storm with a student from Syberia (the real one). She had talked to her mother the night before and was told that flowers were up, trees were in bud, and spring had arrived -- in Syberia but not in Syracuse!
