We bought our house in May but moved in just two weeks ago. Last night, we attended our first Cruise-In at Spanish Springs. I'm so impressed with the variety, number, and quality of the classic cars on display! What a wonderful, free event for lovers of classic cars. Please tell me that they are always this good!

Also, I loved seeing the drum corps, the majorettes, the cheerleaders and the flag corps. This is retirement at its best. Lots of folks respectfully enjoying the show, the patriotism, each other's company, and the beautiful outdoors. Made me smile -inside and out!

I'm feeling so blessed to live in TV, and to meet such wonderful, friendly people from all walks of life.

I will get even better during high season. More people means more cars.

So glad you enjoyed it. We go every time we can. It is true, the summer Cruise-Ins are a lot smaller than the winter ones, so be prepared to be awed! The Corvette Club shows and other clubs' shows around Lake Sumter Landing are fun too.

Apparently it's once a month on a Saturday. When does the Corvette Club show? Is it at the Cruise in or some other time?
