I recall reading the Parade Magazine when I was young many years ago . As I was gutting my Sunday paper today, I saw this flimsy 12 page insert now named Parade. I looked and found 5 pages of articles , 6 pages of ads, and a cover picture. My thought was that a community news letter is oftentimes more interesting. Wondered how many people are employed creating this document. Googled and found it is published in 700 papers and has a circulation of 23 million. Last was sold for 1976 in $305 Million in 1976. It is currently for sale.

I am looking for fellow Villagers who are willing to invest their retirement savings to buy this business which used to make $50 Million per year.

I'm saving my weekly copies in hope that they become collector items.

I remember Parade magazine when it was a go to section of the Sunday newspaper. Now its just a short skim. Of course, I also remember when I received my Time magazine in the mail and would read the articles back to front and it was a long night. Now my Time magazine is thinner than my underwear.

It used to carry articles about well known personalities, now that seems to be covered by the big 3 news networks. As if that is news.

Used to be one of my favorite parts to look at in the Sunday paper. I saved it for last.
