What type of work are you doing Rhonda?

Just curious as it appears to be around 80 degrees and sunny in TV land.

Data input for our business. I use broadband wireless technologyand about 1.5 hours of battery life. We are self employed in the insurance industry. Hub is on the road in our new HYBRID CIVIC and I'm at the pool!! Actually I forgot my visor and am heading back home. The only drawback is you need shade and a visor to work on PC in the sunshine. I did get a dip in the pool, did 3 "jobs", had lunch, relaxed, and plan on getting my visor and go back! Life has been WONDERFUL for us here.

What a way to work! Go for it!!! Curious, though: How are you connected via a hub in your car?

Gosh, I'm so jealous!!! (but it's going to maybe hit 60 in MN today!) I wonder if there are any nursing jobs that can be done completely on the computer......................

My guess is that she has a mobile broadband card from Sprint or At&t. About $50 a month for an unlimited data card. We use them in my current business. No hub needed, just a laptop and the PCIM slot.

Is this correct Rhonda?

YES!!! I would like to know too! I work for a couple of hours a day...then head to the pool....would love to be able to have wi-fi at the pools....maybe we need to ask the country clubs to have wi-fi...that would make the extra money worth the while....

If you have a house in the villages and have a wifi laptop, you can get free internet at the Rec centers. I was there last year and checked my work email everyday. All you need is your account # and the pin that you use to sign up for golf.

:dontknow: I'm not sure, maybe I'm wrong, it's been known to happen, not very often according my hub, but I think she meant her husband and not a "hub". ??? :dontknow:

Definition
hub: a center around which other things revolve

this definition may apply to both... :duck:

Sorry, wasn't playing, made an honest mistake; sometimes I'm the village idiot of modern technology. We were traveling in South Dakota last year and in one town passed a street named 'Disk Drive.' I'm not making this up! Hub? Husband? Whatever....
