Does anyone have a recommendation for a Hand Specialist? The only name I have is a Dr. Chrystine Harding. She doesn't have an appt open until March of 2015....over 6 months. That's a lifetime at my age. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Try Dr. Peter Mulhern.
He was my doctor (and neighbor) in Ringgold Georgia before he moved his practive to The Villages. He worked on a hand and knee w/o surgery.

Dr. Cynthia Harding has another excellent Dr. in with her, Dr. Gloria Chin. She came from U of FL and believe she was an instructor there.

if not an emergency situation, much better to wait the 6 months and get with one who is widely noteable in the state of FL.
There is a reason why people like Harding are booked so far out....as well as a reason why some can see you next week/month.
Me....I would wait unless the condition prohibits it.....I would get an appointment with her on the books and then I would see what hospital(s) Harding is affiliated with and go to that emrgency room (if warranted) and put her down as the physician.

I have used Dr. Chin and she is excellent, and yes, she was a professor at UF.
