The woman is the same one that was involved in the 2:00 am beer theft from the Circle K on Griffin Ave.
She used to live with a guy in Silver Lake. Some of her neighbors told me that they were evicted. They also said that she is pregnant and doing drugs. The article says she is now living in Tierra del Sol. The guy lives in Orange Blossom Gardens.
This episode was with a different guy than the beer theft.

Frankly, I typically do not care what others do in their personal life, but this really takes the cake. What bothers me the most about this whole situation is a possible unborn child that would most likely be born in jail with a high probability of being born drug addicted and potentially with other health issues as well. My heart bleeds for this unborn child. Then I think of other upstanding couples that desperately want a child and can't have one. Linda

what bothers me the most is the people who we are going to attract here. Already this news has brought comments about others who can't wait to move here. Ugh!

Well, if the editor-reporter's goal is to get national and international newspapers/broadcasters to portray TV and us as a pile of horny white trash, she's doing a damn good job of it.
I hope advertisers wake up and quit advertising in the trash.

It DID happen. She would have been criticized for not reporting it. Reporting what happened is the job of a newspaper, print or online. She reported what was probably copied from the police report.
Meta is a seasoned journalist and was managing editor of the Daily Sun for many years before she retired. She is a very decent person, a daily cyclist, a person who loves animals and is both intelligent and warm and an active member of one of our churches. She lives just outside the villages with her husband and a Noah's ark full of animals and the current in a long series of black chows who is loyal to only them.

They definitely live in The Villages. I've seen them and I am aware of a group that they travel with. she and her boyfriend were renting a house in Silver Lake. They were evicted after stealing a case of beer from the Circle K on Griffin at 2:00 in the morning. The article says that she now lives in Tierra del Sol.
This guy is not the same one that she was caught stealing beer with. The article says that he lives in Orange Blossom Garden.

That is just life in the city. Most of us are decent law abiding citizens. As Jbdfan might point out, we have to have something to feel superior to.
Booze is part of the mix for this particular incident but you cannot keep people who have a past out. Be mad at the owners who rented to them. both of them. This is when a little profiling would have come in handy.

Many have questioned the ages about these two living here. Federal law mandates that up to 20% be allowed in. With a population reported now to be above 100,00 that could easily translate to many under 55.
That being said, I would think that perhaps homeowners could be a little more selective in the renters. Would that be allowed or considered discriminatory? :ohdear:

Nobody said it shouldn't have been reported. It's the WAY it was reported, to titillate and attract more tabloid trash coverage. Apparently this fledgling news site is trying to get the viewership of Inside Edition--tabloid trash on a national and British level.
There was no need to give all the seedy graphic details of what parts were naked or that his *** ***** "was in full view". There was no need to place this as the lead story on the front page, in more than two factual paragraphs. And pictures of the green utility boxes is unnecessary too--we all have them in the corners of our neighborhoods and know what they look like.
Even in a rural small town paper in MO or PA, this would have been reported in two paragraphs below the fold. There, the story with pictures above the fold would have been about meth lab perps or heroin ring traffickers caught or having warrants out for them. But flea bag sex draws a wider audience and bigger tabloids that will quote this news site and expand its base--debased.

Its rather ironic that those most opposed to the article bothered to read the entire story. If people don't like the headline, just move on.

Hi janmcn: I believe people read something more than just because the oppose and or don't like reading it and if those were the only criteria I believe the majority of the country would stop reading paper and watching television, etc. I am very opposed to it felt shame for them and the community but read it all because i wanted to see if there were clues for problem solving and you can't problem solve without all the facts and indeed this kind of behavior needs to stop. These sex stories do not enhance this community they diminish it and make The Villages look trashy

It`s all a sad situation on many levels . Firstly , clearly a couple of people with very serious substance abuse issues . Most likely several different substances and they sure resemble the photos I have seen of heavy " Meth " users .
However I blame the two of them and not society . Should they be Prosecuted ? YES and hopefully somehow they might get " cleaned-up " . And ideally " relocated " away from " Us " !

If you put the sleazy story into perspective, it's only 2 people out of 100,000 residents.

I did find that the online newspaper seemed to sensationalize the story.
However people seem to be hungry for this kind of information.
Just look at the amount of page views and comments on these two identical threads on TOTV.
Based on the lewd jokes, comments, and attempts at humor, there is a lot of interest in this story.

Actually four that were caught and arrested!
I find it hard to believe that there are many people having sex in public.
But perhaps I'm naive. I wouldn't have guessed 8 AM on a hydro box either.
