We seem to be stuck in a week where much of our discussion focuses on what is wrong with (fill in the blank), how many people are stinkers and the like.
I'd like to share something with you. I claim no credit for any of this. I'm just reporting it. I belong to a Facebook group called "Liners". It began as a discussion group for folks who use an application called Lines which projects and tracks wait times at Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal Orlando. It evolved into a group which most often includes discussion of people's plans to visit Disney and their experiences.
One of the members, Deb Whitmore planned to go with her family to visit Disney World. Then she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She's battled valiantly, but earlier this week, she learned that it had spread and the end is coming. She wanted to take her kids to Disney, but after all of the medical costs that wasn't going to happen.
Her friends on Liners rallied around her and started a GoFundMe campaign. In less than 24 hours, it has raised over $28,000. The excess beyond the cost of the trip will go to help pay off their substantial medical bills. Deb can see her 4 kids enjoy Disney.
Somehow, I just don't feel so cranky right now about things like rude people in the grocery store.
And when you hit your knees tonight, ask God to be good to the folks who love Deb. It's clear he already loves Deb.

Absolutely, I agree. Life is much too short to focus on the negative.
There are so many wonderful things and people in life to celebrate.

"Love you GOD with all your heart and soul, and love another as I have loved you".
There are too many good people in the world, to let the stinkers drag one down.
