The balloon fiesta in ABQ is quite an event. Balloonists come from all over the world to participate. I have resided in Albuquerque off and on for most of my life and recall balloons flying 100 feet over my house. It is definitely a spectacular affair.

I too am from a BALLONE TOWN...LONGVIEW,TEXAS WHICH WE HAD THE NATIONAL COMPETION event THE LAST 3 years....what an honor!
It is presented in July every year...
