My wife and I have to go back to Connecticut for the birth of our first grandchild and help out our daughter and son-in-law for 2 months.

We are going to let our good friends come down and experience first hand the Villages Lifestyle by staying in our CYV for that period of time.

We will be trading in our Villages ID's so that they can be reassigned to them during their stay. I was wondering if the trail pass assigned to our cards or residence will transfer over to them as well.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

I wish I could give you a good answer but I wanted to express congratulations to you and family on the new addition. Someone at one of the regional rec centers should be able to tell you . Again congrats.

Thank you DonH57!!!

We are trilled beyond words and can't wait till February. Our trail fees are expiring in 2 weeks and I will ask that question to people at Lake Miona Rec. Ctr. where I go to renew.

The trail fees are on the people (up to 4 residents in a household). They do not transfer to renters with guest passes.

What are trail fees? This is the first I have heard of them? I have rented twice now and never paid any fees? I will be full time in January, is this another expense I should know about?

$4 per person to use a golf cart on an executive course.

No, don't worry, it's only useful if you take your cart on the executive golf courses. It is an annual pass that essentially prepays the $4 cart fee and allows unlimited usage with your cart. So if you golf frequently on the exec courses, it can save money. Otherwise, it's always free if you walk. And it doesn't cost anything to drive your cart around The Villages.

Priority membership pays for trail fees yearly, and you get a discount off the green fees on Championship courses .... And allows you to use the country club pools. All other pools are free.

Otherwise you pay four dollars each time you golf an executive course, just as the prior posters say. It is free to walk and play on executive course. Thank you Harold Schwartz.

The four dollars is per person not per cart. You can get a six month pass or one year, but not transferable.

does anybody actually walk on the golf courses anymore. Having a golf front lot, for the past 8 years, and not being a full timer.....I have to say, I have never seen anyone walk....

trail fees are $141 a year for up to 4 household members to use your cart on golf course cart trails. the money goes towards their maintenance. you have the option to pay $4 per person, each round, as well. If you have 2 playing the annual fee would equal about 18 rounds of golf, my wife and I usually cover that in 7 or 8 weeks.

You can buy them at Seabreeze or Lake Miona regional recreation centers. Maybe the others
Regional centers also, not sure about that.

I hope not because that's unfair to residents
