I am researching the possibility of using an IRS compliant self directed IRA LLC to purchase rental property here in The Villages. Has anyone actually purchased rental property using IRA funds? If so, any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have not done it but did look into commercial property under a SD IRA and you will need a third party administrator I believe. Sounds like it would be a good investment though! Let me know what you find out.

You need a qualified custodian to hold title. It can be done but you will need some professional help so you bo not material participate.

See Ya... Let us know what you find out there. TV is a city of 100,000 not some small little village or gated community. There is going to be diversity.
