Had a new customer tell me that his water was contained a lot of sediment (looks like sand but finer) asked how he knew.
You can simply lift the cover off your bathrooms water tank(s), if you see something like brown spots as the pic shows these are accumulations of sediment. You can be sure they are also in your hot water tank.
You are drinking, cooking and bathing is that type of water, to say nothing as to the chlorine and other elements in your water.
