Another perfect job done by Brightspot!

Yes, you all look wonderful, BUT, I hope you never take a "close up" of me, I'll wonder who the "old lady" is. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/mittelgrosse/medium-smiley-099.gif

Who was doing the musical act at Lake Sumter Landing when the freeze occurred??

Thought about coming to the freeze but only wanted to show up if there were 50+ people also going to be there. It only sounded like there were going to be 13 or so??

I like to try to keep a low profile with respect to pictures of me on the Internet. A Where's Waldo kind of picture would have been OK.

 Thanks for sharing all this. All we could see was stick figures on the webcam so this brings it all to life for us. It looks like so much fun and you guys are phenomenal for holding those poses without laughing. Great job. Thanks Brightspot!

Thank you Brightspot and company. The video says it all. Everyone held their own. I have recorded the Freeze video from You Tube that Bright posted to a WMV file to play on your personal computers via Windows Media. If you would like a copy I can email one to you. Let me know johnnymendola@verizon.net. Before I can send out TOTV copies I need to have a correct credit list for the movie. I need to know the camera man, the horn blower and stage assistants and any other involved TOTV'ers names (or avatar names). Also is the following correct?

Samhass Freeze Originator

Susan Freeze Director

Brightspot Freeze Producer

Red Witch Freeze Organizer

Hi Bright, Pics are wonderful. Can not wait to see the full pictures.

I am also gardening and just hired someone to week and look after our plants when we are not here. They were unbelievably reasonable.

The smiles on everyone's faces says it all.

Thanks so much to you and Susan.

Johnny, I wasn't the originator. I saw it on the web. I may have been the original instigator of our TV freeze, however. I only threw out the suggestion. Everyone else picked up the ball and ran with it. I'll bet the band is still talking about it. 1rnfl 1rnfl

Johnny, I was not an organizer. I made some suggestions, as did others. I was simply a participant (who wisely stood far back so I could watch the goings on and reactions on the dance floor). The founder and co-organizer of this freeze was Susan of SusanTom. BrightSpot was her able-bodied assistant and co-organizer.

I don't know why everyone is being so humble. Sam was the TV Freeze originator. Susan was the Producer/Director. Brightspot was the Asst. Producer/Director and Red was the manager. I remember Red calling for meetings at Johnny Rockets a while ago to get the preliminaries started. I still need the camera man, horn blower and other helpers to include in my list of credits. BTW Mr. LJ and Mrs. MJ have some really great stills I am trying to get to include with the video. We are working together as I type to get them via photo bucket. He is new to the game but is learning. It should be done by this evening. Great shots, really great shots
Hang on and please let me know the list of credits......

PS: I just saw the additonal You Tube postings by Bright. I believe my software can make one contiuous video including the LJ stills into a WMV format which can be viewed on your own personal computers at will. Size in bytes might be a problem but can deal with that later.

For sure it was a lot of fun! Don't know who the band was, but they seemed stunned at first, then picked up on it, with the vocalist immediately coming up with words to the song she was already singing that picked up on 'freeze happenings' right in front of her, which was impressive. You can hear this on the YouTube video. I think we should find a way to do this again to serve as a fundraiser for a local charity. How about it, guys?

So Peggy, when will you be a Villager? Spanish Springs has not been initiated with a freeze yet. Maybe next season we can entertain there!
BTW, Brightspot, in one frame of the video I thought you were going to give the camera a moonshot! :joke: :2cool: You really know how to spice things up!!! I'm still laughing about the whole freeze. You peeps are the best.

It was great being here this past week. Time flies when you're having fun and this week flew by way too fast. It'll be a year til we meet up again Barefoot and I've already penciled in The Markets of Marion.

I'm counting on Susan to organize a repeat of THE FREEZE for the first week of April 2009 (or the week between Christmas and New Years). I don't want to miss the next FREEZE and that's when we'll be here next.

I like the suggestion of doing it at SS. Maybe first at LSL then move on to SS. I'll leave the details up to her since she's now the veteran FREEZE planner. Now that everyone can see the video I bet we'd have more participants next year, too. Who'd want to miss out on all the fun we had?

I told Mr. Bright that I now feel part of the community....makes a difference when you know people. I always loved TOTV but it's even more special since meeting so many of you.

Thank you TOTVers for making this my most memorable and funnest visit. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh96/renielarson/10_1_1011.gif Shucks, I don't need social cards to be remembered! 1rnfl

Thanks Kathie and all for watching and participating. We had so much fun doing something so simple and silly. It was the participants that made it so fun and the viewers comments and the video/pictures, that let us relive it again and want to do another Freeze.

Spanish Springs sounds great to me. We can meet at Ruby Tuesday's, the clear, hands down, winner of the Crab Crawl...oh that's right that is another thread...(but psssst...if you want great crab cakes that is where to find them, no one else even comes close...and I had cc's 8 places in TV in 5 days. More on that in the next few days when I post in the Restaurant thread)

Sidney Lanier wants it to be a charitable event and HB seconds that motion, so I think they should handle all the details of that part of the Freeze. Don't know exactly when we will be back, so if you want another Freeze before then go for it. Just please post videos for all of us Wanna-be's.

Susan, I nominate you as Freeze Queen! You did such a great job of organizing the last Freeze. It was brilliant to have it on the dance floor as everyone's attention was focused there to begin with. You are right, it was simple, silly and childish, and we all just loved acting like kids again. :clap2:

Brightspot, Freeze Princess, wants the next Freeze either Christmas week 2008 (but probably there will be a lot of people away for Christmas). Or she is suggesting the first week in April 2009.

I'm sure we will all look forward whatever you two plan, it was such fun having you visit TV! 040:
