Concrete patio or pad

Make sure the sprinkler lines are not under the pad when it is poured. I have seen several instances where the concrete contractor poured the pad over the sprinkler lines. This can lead to trouble if the lines spring a leak. The building code here requires that the lines be moved. The sprinkler lines are thin wall pipe and can easily spring a leak if mishandled.

When that happens the best solution is to dig along side the pad and cut the pipe, route around the pad and reconnect. Just leave the old dead line in the ground.

Not a big deal but as the poster stated it should be done.
