Jose Canseco and Ozzie Canseco are playing in The Villages softball tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are playing with Talon Wealth Management at 8:00 am then later that day, if anyone is interested in watching some former pro Baseball players hit some bombs.

Will Jose play in the outfield so that we might see a home run hit off his head? That was one of the funniest plays I've ever seen in major league baseball. To Jose's credit, when the media brings it up every year (it was 21 years ago), he tweets something funny about it.

I play for Talon Wealth and the funny thing is that Ozzie hit more HRs this weekend than Jose. Neither led the team. Nice guys to pay with but it was unfortunate that they got so much hype when there were better players out there. But, that's what Villagers wanted to see. Too bad that some folks had to be rather rude and pushy. When you actually see what people like them have to deal with you almost feel sorry for them.

Would that be a ground-rule double nowadays? Or does the fact that it touched a player first make it a home run?

I read Jose Canseco was hurt in an accidental shooting in Las Vegas yesterday.

This is the latest Jose Canseco finger update:

After shooting his middle finger off doctors reattached it. However, during a recent poker tournament in which he was participating, it fell off. He said it was starting to smell bad so no big loss. One of the participants has this event on video and will put it on YouTube.
