Water Softener Maintenance

Can anyone recommend someone to do maintenance on a water softener? I have had 2 different plumbing companies but they want to sell me $3000 unit and not interested in doing a cleaning of what I have. I ended up paying for service calls with no end result. Please email me: pjdavis45@yahoo.com

Because of my post, I was contacted through email by Alicia Sheffield from MGL water services. "If you would respond to my personal email address or you could give Adam a call at (352)342-5397. We give free inspections on all water systems and we are located about 2 minutes from Brownwood. Would like to regarding my water softener." They came promptly and checked out my softener for a free service call. I highly recommend them as they were honest folks. Unfortunately, my water softener was not able to be repaired.
