See that Joe Lieberman is backing John McCain this time around. Senator Lieberman shares my birthday of February 24 as does Steven Jobs.
He also seems to be in contention as McCain's VP pick???

I think Joe Lieberman makes much more sense than the 3 people still running. He would make a fine VP for anyone.

I used to like Joe Lieberman, but I can't understand or agree with his defense of Bush and the Iraq war.

Haven't seen one yet with whom I agree completely. It's a compromise at best, no matter which one it is.

I think Romney is going to be the choice. Lots of secret people going to Salt Lake City. 8)

Romney does seem llike the logical choice. He has youth, to counteract McCain's age; he has CEO experience he'll tout to give McCain in the economic area.

What better positioning for 2012 could there be? For that reason, I would think...Romney wants the job.
In my opinion he is the best man for the job....I also thought he should have been the candidate for President....because I thought he was the best man for the job....setting aside religion and all the other non resume' distractions of opponents and of course the media.
If he chooses some body else, I fear the good ol' boy system of quid quo pro would be demonstrated over doing what's right.....in my humble opinion.

Thinking back to Al Gore selecting Joe Lieberman to be his running mate and being one heartbeat away, then not supporting him 4 years later when Joe ran for President. Then the CT Dems didn't support his Senate run. Next John Kerry selects John Edwards to be his running mate and 4 years later wont support him when John runs, leads me to wonder what's going on with Dems. Had the tickets been reversed, I would have voted for Lieberman and Edwards.
Based on Democrat's recent history of endorsements, Obama should not count on support in future elections, if he loses this one.
